We’re talking to the Inspector on 3 separate occasions from Tuesday 11th – Friday 14th October 2023 about Mole Valley’s Environment, Infrastructure and Selection policies in the Local Plan.
A HUGE amount of work has gone into developing the Plan with literally hundreds of documents – take a look at Future Mole Valley (Local Plan 2020-2037) | Mole Valley District Council
We think it’s important that the Plan is found to be basically sound, otherwise the Government will provide one. We will push for maximum development of brownfield sites and for the highest possible construction standards. Higher costs now will mean lower maintenance and energy costs throughout the building’s life.

Our response is number R336: there are 849 in all. Each one has been copied with a comment from MVDC (though it’s hard to work out the order). They vary from builders who oppose anything above the minium 10% increase in biodiversity to heartfelt letters from individuals. Mole Valley have modified the original Plan in response to some of these.
