We all already embrace the Circular Economy, in buying pre-loved clothes, upcycling furniture, buying a second-hand car, recycling, using reuse coffee cups, and so on. But this is just a tiny start.
If we really embraced it – then our community, our local economy, our local environment and the planet could be so so much better.
This is something that we can all do, and do now. It’s a real tangible action we can take.
Let’s move from our existing linear economy (make, use, throw away) through to and beyond a recycle economy (make, use, recycle) to the all important and so visionary circular economy (make, use, reuse multiple times, recycle, minimise use of new resources, etc).
